  Love this place, it's walking distance from our house and the food is delicious. $5 margaritas is a great way to start off the meal and enjoy and we enjoy sitting out on the patio. Mi Casa enchiladas with steak are my favorite and my wife says the chicken enchiladas are delicious, the sauce is spot on, rich and full of flavor. I would love to see a TV or two on the patio for some football games. Small town restaurant full of flavor and charm, feeling hungry or just want to snack on some appetizers and a few drinks, chips and salsa, come give it a try. ( salsa has a kick)

  Came for a work lunch with my boss and it was just on the way to our next location, so we stopped by to get our Mexican food fix. I loved the outdoor seating area but it was much too hot for us to sit outside. They had beautiful plants and a fish pond that someone had made and clearly regular tends to it.
  
  Atmosphere: Kinda confusing decor. The deer heads throughout the restaurant say "Texas Steak/BBQ Joint" but evidently that doesn't matter here. Spacious seating area, and really casual dining.
  Service: Waitress sat is down, gave us chips and salsa, and took way too long to come back to take our order. Not talking 10 minutes, not talking 20. It took her 30 minutes to come take our order... and it was NOT busy!! She did NOT refill our drinks after we got served until we were almost done eating.
  Food: You can see right away that the chips are NOT fresh. They have like 40 baskets of chips already made in the back (you can see them stacked up on a shelf!!) So we got STALE, OLD tortilla chips. The chimichanga was literally a deep fried tortilla stuffed with ground beef. Nothing else. We weren't offered any hot sauce/salsa and I was thoroughly disappointed. Dont think I'll ever want to come back.

  I don't think I'll ever understand why a restaurant wouldn't fix the place up every chance they get. This place was probably a good starting point when they first opened but after being in business for so many years take some of the profits and remodel! This restaurant is dirty and the bathroom is just an outhouse that they incorporated into the restaurant. The last couple times I went there the food wasn't good, the charro beans are a joke. Won't be going back.

  Was looking forward to getting a good breakfast. Ordered their version of machaca con hevos. The bits of beef were hard and over cooked. The refried beans were room temperature, not hot. Not happy.

  The food here is not great. My family and I ate here in the early evening,  about 6:00. It was a full house but not over crowded.  
  The decor is weird and they don't have central air conditioning.  The AC wasn't turned on until the room got full so it took a while for it to cool off.
  The food is edible and that's about it.  It's honestly nothing to rave about and I won't go here when I want really good Mexican food.  
  The service was ok and the prices affordable....for that I give the 2 stars.
